Employees from the Village of Woodridge recently conducted a "Cakes Against Cancer" fundraiser where employees sold baked goods, with all the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The Village was able to raise $654.00 in three days. The Village donated this amount in memory of Dave Krupka, a Sergeant with the Police Department that died from cancer in January of 2010. The donation was also made in memory of friends and family members identified by village employees.
