Golfer Makes Hole-n-One at Village Greens.

Only a hand full of golfers can say they have accomplished one of the rarest feats of scoring a hole in one.  After all, it’s reported that the odds of scoring a hole-n-one are 12,750 to 1.  However, on May 10th, 2012 Kristine Granieri defied the odds and added herself to the exclusive list of “ace-shooters”.

Kristine made her ace on the 13th hole at the Village Greens of Woodridge.  It was the first ace of her golfing career, and the 2nd of the year on the 13th hole at Village Greens.

On a beautiful spring day, Kristine used her trusty 8-iron, lofted it high into the air, and watched her ball roll into the cup on the 90-yard par three.  Witnessing and celebrating her accomplishment were other members of the Women’s Midwestern Golf Club that play at Village Greens every Thursday morning, including Mary Kay Sheldon, Dee Barrett, and Rose Bonomo.

Village Greens of Woodridge congratulates Kristine on her tremendous accomplishment!

Additionally, Village Greens hosts the CHARITEE Challenge every day on hole #4.  For $3, golfers can participate with a chance to win a gift card or $1000 cash for a hole-n-one.
