The Woodridge Park District would like to remind residents to observe the "Skating" and "No Skating" signs this winter. Ice skating will be available at Lake Carleton, Ide's Grove West, Ide's Grove East and Rosewood Pond across from Echo Point Park pending weather conditions and the safeness of the ice. Six inches of solid ice across the entire lake is considered safe for skating as long as no snow is present. The east end of Lake Carleton is designated for ice fishing and the snow on this area will not be cleared off.
