Murphy School celebrated the start of the 2010-11 school year with its annual parade and circle of Woodridge staff and students, according to the school's website. Principal Susan Futterer "welcomed everyone back, and new students and staff were brought into the center circle to enjoy a special welcome!" The staff also introduced "Woodridge Reads," the new all-district reading program which has set a goal of 50,000 books to be read this year by the Woodridge community. According to the website, "staff surprised students with a special song that showed we are 'GAGA over Reading' this year!"
