SEASPAR Celebrates 35th Summer of Smiles

More than 180 recreation programs were held this summer and were enjoyed by more than 350 participants.

More than 350 participants enjoyed 180 recreation programs through SEASPAR this summer.

SEASPAR provides year-round recreation services for individuals with disabilities. It's an extention of the park districts of Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, LaGrange, LaGrange Park, Lisle, Westmont, and Woodridge, and the villages of Brookfield, Indian Head Park
and Western Springs.

It was the 35th summer for SEASPAR. Programs included day camps, swimming lessons, golf, cooking classes, music lessons, fitness programs and art classes. Social clubs were very popular this summer, as were the many sports programs which were offered.

There were also trips and special events to water parks, plays, sporting events, overnight camps, movies, parties and dances.
