The studio offers six types of massage: Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, sports, prenatal and trigger point. A massage can be 55 minutes, 80 minutes or 115 minutes. Patrons can schedule a one-time massage or become part of the studio's Wellness Program. There's no contract for the program, which allows people to regularly receive a massage at a reasonable price, Sheth said.

Elements' membership approach allows the studio to keep costs down because it can depend on a certain clientele.

"Massage has been looked at as a kind of luxury and Elements has brought it to a point where it's affordable and reasonable," Sheth said. "That way we can offer it to that many more people."

Woodridge's location is one of Elements' almost 100 franchises. Sheth's is the most state-of-the-art, she said. Lights and music can be adjusted to the patron's liking and electric massage tables make it easier for therapists to adjust for each patron.

Massage therapists are HIPPA certified and highly-skilled, Sheth said.

Sheth has worked in both the corporate world and for the Department of Justice as a translator. She decided to go into small business to bring a "much-valued and needed service to the community."

"When people leave here, they're so much more relaxed," Sheth said. "It allows people to face the rest of their day or week. It really does make a big difference in the way you feel."

She loves the location of her studio.

"I've been here around the clock for past three weeks," Sheth said. "It's very active. I never feel alone. There's a lot of foot traffic. It's wonderful."
