More About Woodridge United Methodist Church
The idea for Woodridge United Methodist Church was first conceived in 1962 at Faith Methodist Church in Lisle. In its beginning, the church had seven members, meeting at Woodridge Village Hall. After its first year, the church had 21 members and met at Goodrich School.
The church was built and dedicated in the 70's, located along 75th Street next to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Small Miracles Preschool started in the 80's. The church was completely renovated in the 90's.
Woodridge United Methodist Church offers professional nursery care during its two Sunday services: 9 and 10:30 a.m. The church also offers Sunday school for children and adults, choirs, mission trips, retreats, Disciple Bible Groups, family events and an evening Vacation Bible School for all ages.
