Mega 20-House Garage Sale Friday in Darien

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Woodridge for Friday, Aug. 2: 

·      A “mega” neighborhood garage sale kicks off at 8:00 a.m. Friday around 7929 Farmingdale Drive in Darien, featuring over 20 houses (there’s even a map!) Pay them a visit!

·      The Village is alerting residents that two Woodridge businesses—Greencore and Follett Education Services—are hiring for about 125 open full-time and part-time positions. Information about applying for Greencore can be found here, and information about applying for Follett can be found here.

·      There’s also a Chapter 11 American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association garage sale (no, they’re not going bankrupt, they’re the 11th chapter) at 185 Beaver Creek Dr., Bolingbrook, from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. on August 2nd and 3rd. All profits go to support local vets.
