Palomino Baseball Championship; Electromagnet Road Closures

Stuff that's happening in and around Woodridge.

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Woodridge today:

·      The Swila Palomino League baseball championships are being held in Woodridge on Tuesday night. Watch some elite 17-19-year-old baseball at Janes Avenue Park’s southwest field, with one game at 5:45 p.m. and the championship game at 8:15 p.m.

·      Road closures for the moving of the Fermilab electromagnet start on Tuesday night through Wednesday morning along 87th Street from Lemont Road to the Bolingbrook Costco, where the magnet arrives at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
