Rover Rescue Dog of the Week

Hola!  My name is Marisol.  When I looked up my name, I realized that it was perfecto for me.  Marisol is a Latina favorite girl name meaning lonely Maria.  Unfortunately, I know a thing or two about loneliness.  I was abandoned by my previous family and ended up in a high kill shelter.  Luckily, my “South of the Border” was just in Southern Indiana.  Rover Rescue found out about me and my awesome personality.  Now I am a Northerner in the suburbs of Chicago.  My foster family has promised that I will never be deserted again. They are going to help me find my “furever” family, one that is deserving of a muy bonita dog like me.  I think my name describes me perfectly:

M - Mixed breed.  Some say Shepherd or Great Dane or Terrier? I am 2 years old and weigh 35 lbs.

A -  Accepting of other dogs.  I love to play with my 60 pound canine foster brother.

R -  Runner.  Make sure all doors are closed as I am a darter.  I love my daily walks/runs.

I  -  Ideal with all people.  I am great with the active 4 & 6 year olds in my foster home.

S -  Sit and paw are the commands I know.  I am working on stay and come.

O - Obedient.  I am both house and crate trained.  I will go to the door to go out.

L -  Lover.  I love to snuggle and give kisses.  I am a happy girl with a wagging tail.

Well, that pretty much sums it up for me.  Please call Teri at 630-897-7454 pronto to hear more about me, Marisol. Adios for now.
