In February of 2013, our Salesman, Redd Walker and his wife Lauren celebrated the birth of their first child, Carolyn Quinn Walker, at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn Illinois. Carolyn was born with a heart defect that limited blood flow to her Lungs, and caused a hole in her heart. Within Days of her birth, Carolyn had open heart Surgery to increase blood flow to her lungs, and She was waiting for a second heart surgery to close the hole in her heart.

However in July Carolyn went into Cardiac Arrest. She was a little fighter and put up an amazing battle, but the damage was more than her little body could handle and on July 16th 2013 Carolyn Passed Away.

This time of Year we think about the Children who are Forced to Spend Their Holiday Season in the Hospital, and we want to bring a little Happiness to them. In Support of the Walker Family, Van Drunen Ford is collecting Toys for Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital.
