4 Things to Do on Columbus Day

From hayrides and games at the library to hear from the forewoman in the retrial of former Governor Rod Blagojevich, check out four activities around town to enjoy.

2. Super Smash Brawl Tournament

What: Kids and teens ages 10 to 18 can attend this event, which will feature a Wii Super Smash Brawl tournament and Gamecube Super Smash Melee tournament.

When: 1 p.m.

3. Games at the library

What: Games Day will include board games, LEGOs, Yu-Gi-Oh, activity sheets and more. The event will take place in the storytime room.

4. Blagojevich Forewoman Speaks at Forum

What: Connie Wilson, who served as forewoman in the retrial of former Governor Rod Blagojevich, will present her jury experiences, including the deliberation process and how the jury arrived at their verdict.
