On Friday and Saturday, Hawthorne Hill Woods will be the site of some scary scenes, ghosts, ghouls, and "all sorts of creatures that slither and groan," according to an announcement from the Village of Woodridge.
The fun will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on October 26, and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on October 27.
According to the announcement, Saturday afternoon will be more suitable for children ages 9 and under—(and the faint of heart.) All participants will be taken to the haunted forest on hayrides.
Parking is available on Carleton Drive, at the Village Hall and the Woodridge Public Library. The cost of admission is $7 Friday night and $5 Saturday afternoon.
