Haunted Forest Walk This Weekend

Hawthorne Hill Woods in Woodridge will be transformed into a family friendly Halloween destination this weekend.

On Friday and Saturday, Hawthorne Hill Woods will be the site of some scary scenes, ghosts, ghouls, and "all sorts of creatures that slither and groan," according to an announcement from the Village of Woodridge.

The fun will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on October 26, and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on October 27.

According to the announcement, Saturday afternoon will be more suitable for children ages 9 and under—(and the faint of heart.) All participants will be taken to the haunted forest on hayrides.
