Help Make Holidays Brighter for Kids, Families

Donate toys for St. Scholastica’s annual sale to benefit Walk-In Ministry of Hope, which assists area families in need.

St. Scholastica Parish in Woodridge is collecting toys for its annual  toy sale to benefit the Walk-In Ministry of Hope – and members of the community can help by donating new or used toys.

Drop off your toy donations  at the St. Scholastica parish office at 7800 Janes Ave. in Woodridge between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. and noon on Fridays.

Walk-In Ministry clients, neighbors and friends are invited to shop at the sale, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at the gym at St. Scholastica Parish school, 7720 Janes Ave.  The sale is also open to the public and toys will be reasonably priced.

Proceeds from the toy sale will benefit the Walk-In Ministry of Hope, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the unemployed, underemployed and homeless with immediate needs through voucher assistance and access to social service agencies in DuPage County.

Based in Downers Grove, the organization serves the emergency needs of residents of Downers Grove, Darien, Lisle, Westmont, Willowbrook and Woodridge.
