Munch Madness: Elite Eight Voting Now Open

Munch Madness is a tournament to determine the best restaurant in Woodridge through a series of head-to-head competitions. We started with 32 restaurants. After each round, we'll eliminate half of the restaurants until we have one left. 

Restaurants advance in each round depending on the number of votes they receive on the site, on Facebook and on Twitter. The three different platforms mean that by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook, you get three votes.

Restaurants were organized into four regions depending on their location around town.

Elite Eight voting will be opened until Sunday at 8 p.m.

Chili's: Chili's is our sole non-Woodridge restaurant in the bracket, simply because we needed one more, and hey, it's across the street! Chili's specialties include margaritas, chicken and Mexican dishes. For more information about Chili's, check out our directory listing.

Carrabba's: The menu is Sicilian with a dash of Tex-Mex. Try an assortment of wines, stuffed pasta, pizza, salads and meat dishes. For more information, check out our directory listing.

Doggie Diner: Doggie Diner has called Woodridge home since 1986. The diner offers more than 100 menu items, including hot dogs, half-pound cheeseburgers, chicken gyros and Italian beef. To learn more about Doggie Diner check out our directory listing.

Papa's Pizza Place: Papa's offers its special thin crust pizza, pasta, Italian beef, salad or a chicken dinner. There's also Mama's special pizza, which includes cheese, sausage, onion, bacon and barbeque sauce. The dining room is a throwback to the 1970s. The Dock: The Dock at the Seven Bridges Golf Club is touted as "the most unique and scenic dining experience in DuPage County." Enjoy lunch or dinner with a view of the course during the warmer months. Salads and sandwiches are crafted by executive chef Kevin Peterson.
