Razzle Dazzle Woodridge Rotary Club Fundraiser and Wine Tasting Next Month

Working with WineStyles of Seven Bridges, the Woodridge Rotary Club will be holding two drop-in wine tasting events on consecutive Saturdays from 5 – 7 pm:  November 3 and November 10.  These will be informal events where participants can taste a variety of wines while munching on light snacks that will pair well with the wines. Those at the event can learn as they taste.  All wines will be for sale singly or by the case.  Raffles and basket prizes will be available to enhance the fun.

Part of every sale will go to help raise funds for the Woodridge Rotary Club.  The Club gave more than $20,000 back to the Woodridge community last year through scholarships and donations to such groups as  West Suburban Community Pantry, SEASPAR, Family Shelter Services, Walk-in-Ministry of Hope, Sharing Connections Furniture Bank and many others.  In addition, the Club sponsors the Woodridge Recycling Extravaganza every spring.

Tickets will be $20 ahead of time and $25 at the door.  Tickets will be for one evening or the other.  Wines will be moderately priced but an additional charge will allow purchasers to try more expensive wines.  The fundraising purchases may be turned in until December 1.
