Woodridge Mosquitos Test Positive for West Nile Virus

The mosquitos with the virus were collected from Lemont, Hinsdale, Lisle, Westmont and Woodridge.

The first batch of mosquitos of the year have tested positive for West Nile virus, and they're from Woodridge, according to the Chicago Tribune

Mosquitos collected from Lemont and Norridge in Cook County, and Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, Lisle, Westmont and Woodridge in DuPage County tested positive for the virus, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. 

A crow collected by the Chicago Department of Public Health also tested positive for West Nile virus.

The best way to avoid West Nile is to, of course, avoid mosquitos, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
