Good Friday Tenebrae Service

Join us at 7:00pm for a Good Friday Tenebrae Service.

Song of the Shadows is an invitation to contemplate the love and sacrifice of Christ. Tracing in song the last days of the Savior, this deeply moving work is truly an opportunity to worship as we walk together through the loving sacrifice made for us.  We will move through the seven shadows by which we remember the death of Jesus ending with nailing our own personal sins to the Cross.

The purpose of the service is to recreate the betrayal, abandonment, and agony of the events.  It is left unfinished because the story isn’t over until Easter Day.

Featuring Woodridge United Methodist Church's Chancel Choir, guest instrumentalists and soloists, join us and invite your friends and neighbors for this touching presentation on Good Friday, April 6th.
