Special Olympics Benefit Night at Bakers Square

As part of Bakers Square’s longstanding tradition of giving back to the community, Bakers Square will hold a fundraiser at their Woodridge location on Tuesday, April 12 to benefit the local chapter of Special Olympics of Illinois.

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, Bakers Square will donate 10 percent of event sales to Special Olympics of Illinois. Special Olympics of Illinois provides year-round sports training and competition for nearly 21,000 athletes with intellectual
disabilities annually from communities throughout the state.

Sandy Hutchins, Area 2 Director of Special Olympics Illinois, will be at the event along with local athletes greeting guests at the door and talking about their experiences being an athlete at their local, state and international athletic competitions.
