How did the business come to be?

The Darien Swim and Recreation Club wanted to offer outdoor water aerobics classes to their membership and since I am long standing member and certified instructor they asked me to provide them. They were so popular that we wanted to continue indoors. I found the Quality Inn, Burr Ridge and they provide the pool.

Why did you choose the area you did?

Because its where I have lived my entire life and I love helping my friends and neighbors.

What does your business offer?

Water exercise for all levels in a fun upbeat environment. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. The first class is free and $5 every class after that. A convenient 10 class punch card is also available.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

We can help anyone. Everyone can benefit and all fitness levels will get a workout. We also don't offer sessions so you only pay for classes you attend.

The group is the most positive aspect and the fact you don't have to join a health club to participate.
