Report: Woodridge Home Prices More Affordable than Area Communities

Typical four-bedroom, four-bathroom home in the village sells for $ $260,869, according to Coldwell Banker.

The average listing price of a Woodridge home is more affordable than some of the village's surrounding communities, according to a recent report from the Coldwell Banker real estate firm.

Woodridge's average listing price for a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house came in at $260,869, according to a market action report from Coldwell Banker.

Compare that to the village's neighboring communities (Bolingbrook, Darien, Downers Grove, Lemont, Naperville, Plainfield and Romeoville) and Woodridge's listing price is near the bottom of the pack.

Lemont’s average rated the most expensive of the group with the average listing price of $458,876. Romeoville, meanwhile, was the most affordable, with an average listing price of $204,990.

The survey reviewed 139 real estate markets in Illinois and found Kankakee ($86,621) as the most affordable market and Lake Forest ($753,593) as the state’s most expensive market.
