Visions for Vacancies: Quiznos

What would you like to see in the now-empty storefront? Tell us in the comments!

Let's call this a modern spin on community planning—Patch's version of a digital drawing board where all ideas are on the table.

In an occasional column, we'll present a new vacant building and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use. Forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts people most to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

Quizno's closed its Seven Bridges location last spring. The space is still empty.

This said, we ask you, our Woodridge Patch readers: What would you like to see there? Another clothing store? A different retailer? Another kind of business?

Tell us in the comments!

It doesn't matter who goes in there. As long as they continue to charge exorbitant rents for small storefronts that don't have the visibility from Route 53, it will be difficult for any tenant to thrive in those spaces. It's too bad. The retail portion of the Seven Bridges development has been mismanaged from the get go.

I would like to see a Jersy Mikes subs.

I would love to see a wine bar there. Where you could go into a quiet little establishment and have a glass of wine and some cheese. Soothing music, low lighting, and a friendly place to go after work.

A good old fashion bakery!

Yes...a bakery would be a great idea!
