Janes Ave. Bush Is Dangerous for Motorists

I am against this bush!

There is a bush planted in the easement just to the left of the exit from parking at the soccer field on Janes, just north of 83rd by the 7-11.

It is a dangerous bush because it blocks the view of traffic coming from the left. The bush makes it tricky to exit because the driver has to creep out to see if any cars are approaching, and the more you creep out, the more likely you are to get hit by a car you can't see coming. Perhaps it is easier to see over the bush in a van or SUV, but in a car the bush is a menace.

There are also pedestrians there, walking between the 7-11 and the apartments on the west side of Janes or down to the skate park.

I called Public Works but nothing has been done or trimmed. They seem to be pro-bush. The whole thing doesn't need to go, but trimming a couple feet near the road might save somebody's life.

The bushes along Janes north of 83rd also block your view of oncoming traffic when you're making a right on to Janes from 83rd. I curse that corner bush all the time! Perhaps if the public works drove in a car instead of a truck, they would have a better understanding?
