4 Local Ways to Celebrate Oktoberfest

We found four great fall activities to celebrate the German holiday.

Binny's, Bolingbrook

For either the small cost of $10 (for non-members) or $5 (for members), try several Oktoberfest and other seasonal favorites at the Binny's Fall Beer Tasting. The event takes place Saturday, September 24 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

On Wednesday, September 28 Emmett’s will celebrate Oktoberfest by tapping their Oktoberfest Bier and serving Bratwurst and Bavarian Pretzels. The party takes place 7 to 8:30 p.m., and $12 per person includes two beers and food.

Naperville Oktoberfest

From 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. on September 30, the village will host an Oktoberfest celebration at the Martin Mitchell Mansion. Feast on German cuisine while enjoying the live music. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Rain or shine, on October 8, join River Bend Golf Club for a round of golf German style. The cost of $45 includes golf, a cart, German lunch and various prizes.
