5 Things to Know for June 14

1. Woodridge Jubilee starts tomorrow!

Carnival rides, food, beverages, bingo and entertainment will be featured at the 2011 Woodridge Jubilee hosted by the Woodridge Park District and the Village of Woodridge.

2. Don't forget about the library's summer reading program.

The  kicked off its annual summer reading programs for children, teens and adults last week. The program runs until July 30.

3. Library lecture to highlight best places to hike, bike in Illinois

Learn about the best places to hike and bicycle throughout the Chicago region through a presentation by local guidebook author Ted Villaire at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Woodridge Public Library, 3 Plaza Drive.

4. Need a lift?

Tram tours are available daily at the Morton Arboretum, 4100 Lincoln Ave, Lisle. Listen to tours that will describe the Arboretum's history and describe plants and trees.
