Chicago Area Named 3rd in Nation for Best Trick-or-Treating

Attention trick-or-treaters! You're living in prime land for free candy. 

The Atlantic ranked the top third areas in the United States for trick-or-treating. The Chicago-Naperville-Joliet area came in third. 

The Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk area in Connecticut took first with the New York-New Jersey-Long Island area taking second. 

The rankings were based on "the share of children aged 5 to 14; median household income (figuring the haul will be better in more affluent metros), population density, walkability (measured as the percentage of people who walk or bike to work) and creative spirit (which we measured as the percentage of artists, designers, and other cultural creatives)."
