Cypress Cove Sees Big Gains in Profit in 2011

The water park, which is owned by the Woodridge Park District, saw a 37 percent increase in profit from 2010.

It’s been a hot summer, and that’s meant good business for

Cypress Cove, operated by the , has produced $558,357 in profit from May 1 to July 31, a 37 percent increase from the same period of time in 2010.

Attendance is also up 5 percent from 2010, increasing from 73,500 to 77,125 in 2011.

Cypress Cove end its summer hours on Sunday, Aug. 21.

Cattail Bay and Bullfrog Bayou in the park will remain open on the weekends through Labor Day.
