Five Things to Know for June 27

Globe Theater performance at Cinemark, District 68 meeting tonight and a look at this week's local festivals.

Love theater? Take in a 2010 performance of the "Merry Wives of Windsor," performed in London's Globe Theater, at at 7 p.m.

3. Powerpoint class at the library, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday

Want to get a better grasp of Powerpoint? Learn how to create and run a basic slideshow with text and graphics at the . This is a two-part class and students must attend both parts (the second is on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.). 

4. Eyes to the Skies starts Wednesday 

The events goes from June 29 to July 3 in Lisle. 

Lisle's annual festival attracts 150,000 people a year, according to its website: 

"Highlights include performances by nationally known musical groups, the best in local band performances, a large carnival, a 100-booth craft fair, a special children’s area, food court and of course, daily launches of hot air balloons and a balloon glow. There’s also an annual Fourth of July parade and a spectacular fireworks show." 

5. Another fest to look forward to -- Naperville's Ribfest 

The festival runs from July 1 to 4 in Naperville's Knoch Park. Check out carnival rides, fireworks, music from two stages and of course, ribs.
