Munch Madness is Woodridge Patch's quest to find the best restaurant in the village.

Munch Madness is Woodridge Patch's quest to find the best restaurant in Woodridge. In each round, we'll pit Woodridge restaurants against one another. Whoever gets the most votes on Twitter, Facebook and the site wins.

You get one vote on each platform (so yes, you potentially have three votes). Round one goes until Monday, April 4 at 11:59 p.m.

For every winning restaurant you pick, you get a point. The person whose bracket gets the most points will win a $50 gift card to the Final Four restaurant of his or her choice.

Bakers Square vs. Doggie Diner

Woodridge's newest restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner but is best known for its dessert. Bakers Square offers day-long breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and other American cuisine. To learn more about Bakers Square check out our directory listing.

Doggie Diner has called Woodridge home since 1986. The diner offers more than 100 menu items, including hot dogs, half-pound cheeseburgers, chicken gyros and Italian beef. To learn more about Doggie Diner check out our directory listing.

Pepe's Mexican Restaurant vs. Shanahan's Food & Spirits

The family owned-and-operated Shanahan's offers an Irish pub serving up beer-battered onion rings, hamburgers, club sandwiches, wings and more traditional Irish food including guinness stew, shepherd's pie, fish & chips and corned beef sandwiches. Papa's Pizza Place vs. Pizza Italiano

Papa's offers its special thin crust pizza, pasta, Italian beef, salad or a chicken dinner. There's also Mama's special pizza, which includes cheese, sausage, onion, bacon and barbeque sauce. El Burrito Loco vs. Capri D'Amici

El Burrito Loco offers traditional Mexican fare, including fajitas, tacos, enchiladas and chimichangas. Its specialty is burritos, giant and small sizes, with filling choices that include the usual steak, chicken and pork, but also tripe, tongue and veggie. Capri is relatively new to Woodridge, opening in September. The restaurant serves southern Italian cuisine and offers homemade pastas and seafood specialties. Live music is played Tuesday through Sunday. For more information about Capri D'Amici, check out our directory listing.
