tuesday, march 15

Driving under the influence

Paul Gnat, 54, from the 5600 block of Snowdrop Lane in Lisle, was arrested around 1:15 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection Route 53 and 59th Street, police said.

GPS stolen

Someone removed a GPS unit from a vehicle around 2:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Zurich Lane, police said.

Car damaged

Someone damaged a parked car by denting and scratching both the passenger and driver's side panels around 12:25 p.m. in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

Car damaged

Someone broke the rear windshield and the rear tail light on one vehicle and broke the head lamp and left two dents in the hood of another parked vehicle around 4 a.m. in the 6400 block of Clark Drive, police said. 

Scrap metal stolen

Someone stole $1,600 worth of scrap metal sometime between 4:30 p.m. March 11 and 6:30 a.m. March 14 in the 800 block of South Frontage Road, police said.

Driving under the influence

Jeffrey Pelletier, 32, from the 200 block of Dilorenzo Drive in Naperville, was arrested around 10:15 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of 75th Street and Route 53, police said.

Car parts, GPS stolen

A vandal removed a GPS unit, air duct cleaner, hose attachments, cordless drill and other miscellaneous item while the vehicle was parked in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue between 2 and 5:15 p.m., police said.

Window broken

Someone broke the window of a home with an unknown object around 12:05 a.m. in the 3400 block of Woodridge Drive, police said.

Driving under the influence

Allison Schneider, 22, from the first block of Monterrey, Batavia, and Joseph Madia, 25, from the 2400 block of Kelly Drive, were arrested around 4:50 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a two-car accident near the intersection of Interstate 355 and 75th Street, police said.

Alcohol stolen

Adam Zace, 27, from the 1100 block of Barberry Court in Downers Grove, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he stole alcohol from Dominick’s in the 2300 block of 63rd Street, police said.
