Yashesh Desai, of 3 Plover Court, was charged with first degree murder following the . In October, he was charged with aggravated battery after allegedly assaulting a jail guard.

After Woodridge Patch heard rumors of a murder the weekend before, police released information on Aug. 15 that Yashesh Desai allegedly beat his father to death with a weed trimmer in their home. Desai has since been deemed unfit for trial and was transported to a state facility for treatment.

Word leaked out in May that Pabst had decided to move its corporate headquarters from Woodridge to California. The move was scheduled for the end of summer. There were were reportedly 26 employees at the Woodridge location.
