Set in New York City during the Great Depression, the story follows Annie, a feisty orphan who dreams of being reunited with her parents. She is invited to spend the holidays with Oliver Warbucks, a detached and lonely billionaire.
“Most of the students were familiar with the classic story and songs from ‘Annie,’ but have added their own creative touches to our production,” says North High Teacher and Director Sandra Smycz. “We are looking forward to the performances.”
North High students playing the characters of Annie and Daddy Warbucks commented on the show and what audience members can expect here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vb4PJvGfpbU.
