Free recycling event - Saturday, October 13, 2012

Bring your household items to the annual Recycling Extravaganza on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 8:00AM - 1:00PM in the parking lot of the Public Works Facility, 5101 Walnut Ave., Downers Grove. This event is open to residents of DuPage County and does not include businesses or not-for-profit organizations.Vehicles must be in line by 1:00 p.m to be served. Vehicles arriving after 1:00 p.m. will be turned away. Some accepted items include: lead acid batteries, cell phones, propane tanks, bicycles, carpet and padding, musical instruments, fire extinguishers, hearing aids, American flags, eyeglasses.
