Thread Art: Jacqueline Moore Exhibit

During the month of February, the Woodridge Public Library will be displaying the works of Jacqueline Moore, Thread Art. February is Black History Month and the theme of Moore's art focuses on black history from her own experience as a black woman raised in Chicago. She combines her experience with designing electronic circuits and sewing and designing clothes to create art, using fabric and thread. The public is invited to a Meet the Artist Reception on Saturday, February 9, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The display is available for viewing during normal Library hours.
