West Suburban Concert Band Spring Concert

On May 3, 2014 the West Suburban Concert Band will perform
its Spring Concert.  The concert will be
held in the auditorium of Gurrie Middle School, 1001 South Spring Avenue, La
Grange, Illinois.  Admission is free.  The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.  Selections include Philip Sparke's "The
Bandwagon" march, Gustav Holst's "A Moorside Suite", George
Gershwin's "An American in Paris", Percy Grainger's "The
Immovable Do", the novelty march "March for Tripod" by Fisher
Tull, Ralph Vaughn Williams' "The Golden Vanity March" and Sousa's
"The Stars and Stripes Forever." 
Featured soloists are Ms. Liz Moog who will play the Rondo from Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart's Horn Concerto in E flat, K. 495 and the WSCB Flute Choir
