DGS Marching Band's Road Trip
The Downers Grove South marching band competed in two competitions this weekend, placing second at Wheaton North.
The DGS Marching Band competed in a double header this past Saturday, performing first at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, then heading north to Wheaton North High School.
The 125-member band entertained crowds with this year's show entitled "River Visions" at Stagg without placing, but earned second place in their class and overall categories at the Wheaton North Competition.
Good luck to the Marching Mustangs as they head north again this Saturday to perform at the Chicagoland Marching Band Festival at Wheeling High School.
