DGS Marching Mustangs Take 2nd in Wheeling Festival

DGS Marching Mustangs took second at the Wheeling High School Chicagoland Marching Band Festival Saturday.

Congratulations once again to the DGS Marching Mustangs!

After combining talents with the DGN Marching Trojans at Friday night's Crosstown Classic football game, the Marching Mustangs had a strong performance at the Wheeling High School Chicagoland Marching Band Festival on Saturday.

The band was awarded 2nd place in its class, as well as receiving awards for Best Drum Majors and Best Music in their class. The margin between 1st and 2nd place was less than one point!

The band and color guard members continue to work very hard to enhance and improve this year's show entitled "River Visions."  The band will travel north once again on Saturday, Oct. 8 to perform at the Prospect High School 16th Annual Knight of Champions Marching Band Competition.
