DGS Marching Mustangs Cross the Border for Competition

The Downers Grove High School Marching Mustangs band travelled to Mishawaka, IN this past Saturday to compete in the Penn High School Kingsmen Carnival of Bands.  The band members and color guard entertained the crowd on a beautiful fall afternoon, while competing with extremely talented bands, but did not place.  The marching band will participate in Homecoming events this Friday, September 28, including the parade which begins at 3:15 and their performance at halftime of the varsity football game that evening.  Please mark your calendars to come out and support the Marching Mustangs when they host 23 bands in their very own Music Bowl on Saturday, October 13.  Please refer to www.mustangbandboosters.com for details.
