The Woodridge Police Department is inviting the public to a fundraiser to help one of its officer's wife's fight against cancer.
Officer Brian Michels and his wife, Jordie, are the focus of the fundraiser, which is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Seven Bridges Ice Arena, 6690 S. Route 53 in Woodridge.
There will be activities, food, drinks, games, raffles and prizes. Tickets are $25 and children under 12 are free. Call Michael Wolfe at 461-1133 or mwolfe@vil.woodridge.il.us for tickets or to donate.
