Fighting hunger takes a year round commitment, and Liberty Tax Service welcomes community and business support to help the West Suburban Community Pantry stock up NOW. A $1,000 donation goal is underway at the Liberty Tax Service office, located at 8280 Janes Avenue in Woodridge.
The Liberty Tax Service office will hold a cash donation collection event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5.
Liberty has planned a day of family fun and entertainment with “MASCOTS FOR MEALS” - including face painting, temporary tattoos, balloons, photos with the mascots, popcorn, cotton candy and more!

Some of the businesses that are supporting this worthy cause are Buffalo Wild Wings, Aloft Hotel, McDonald’s, Arby’s, It’s All About Hair, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, State Farm Insurance, the Fire Department, the Police Department, the Woodridge Community Resource Center, and the Woodridge Area Chamber of Commerce. Plus there will be a special appearance by Ozzie of the Kane County Cougars from noon to 1 p.m.. You won’t want to miss it!!!!
