As a small business owner and a member of Woodridge 68’s Board of Education, I experience on a regular basis the importance of effective leadership. The next leader of Woodridge must be able to listen to many points of view, be accountable, be responsible, be creative, work well with others, be thoughtful, communicate well, and stand by their decisions. Mike Krucek possesses all these qualities.
Mike brings excellent credentials and experience to this position. He has built a successful business while contributing in numerous ways to our community through the Chamber of Commerce, youth commissions, planning boards, fundraising boards, steering committees, coaching, race committees, the list goes on. What I most admire is Mike’s ability to be a true leader. Whatever he is involved in, he leads. He listens. He learns. He makes positive change. This is what we can expect for Woodridge in the coming years.

I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Mike through coaching girls softball. I have found him to be generous with his time and resources in every way. As a law enforcement professional (not for the Village of Woodridge, I have nothing personal to gain here), I appreciate Mike’s efforts and dedication in overseeing police pensions. Mike is a model citizen and family man, who has demonstrated true dedication to his community.
