Bolingbrook Police: Cash Stolen from Locked Bedroom, Possession of Drug Equipment

Domestic battery, equipment violation and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter Oct. 23-25.

Oct. 25 

Equipment violation 

Irfan Javaid, 28, 9446 Crawford Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. and charged with no insurance, title violation and an equipment violation following traffic stop on the 2100 block of Kemmerer Drive, police said. 

Oct. 24 

Illegal transportation of alcohol 

Jose Gonzalez, 63, 525 Old Stone Dr., was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with no valid driver’s license, unsafe equipment and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said. 

Cash stolen from locked bedroom 

Officers responded for the report of a theft, police said. Cash was taken for a secured bedroom on the 700 block of Hawthorn Court. The loss was valued at $300. 


Officers responded to the 500 block of Preston Drive for the report of a battery, police said. The victim states an unknown subject followed them home after picking up a pizza and slapped them at 7:40 p.m. 

Oct. 23 


Cody Hustedde, 20, 470 Monarch Ln., was arrested at 2:10 p.m. charged with a warrant, police said. 

Theft of property, possession of drug equipment 

Bryan Orellana, 19, 281 S. Palmer Dr. was arrested at 10:44 a.m. and charged with theft of property, possession of drug equipment and failure to signal following a traffic stop at Canterbury Drive and Lily Cache Lane, police said. 

Domestic battery 

Britnie Jones, 21, 329 Ottawa Dr., was arrested at 10:29 a.m. and charged with domestic battery after a call to the residence, police said. 


Victor Becerra, 39, 408 Wellington Ln., was arrested at 11:39 p.m. and charged with a warrant, police said. 

Driving under the influence  

Sherry Brown, 454, 339 Gehrig Cir., was arrested at 11:11 p.m. and charged with improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at Delaware Drive and Boughton Road, police said.

Wow..Ms.Brown sure is elderly. I don't think that she should be driving at all at that age. Once you get over 400 years old, it's time to hang it up!
