Man Allegedly Urinates on Business Windowsill

An item from the Downers Grove police blotter.

Kenneth G. Osowski, 54, of Woodridge was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly urinated on the windowsill of a business in the 5100 block of Main Street at 11:37 a.m. June 27.

When police arrived, Osowski was sitting on the window sill. There was a wet puddle under him that was running onto the sidewalk and smelled of urine, according to the report. Police observed Osowski’s pants were partly wet in the groin area and his clothing was dirty.

Osowski’s eyes were blood-shot, half opened and there was a strong odor of alcohol, police said. When officers asked Osowski if he had urinated, he could not answer due to his slurred speech. The business owner told police Osowski had not entered the store, but she wanted him to leave and would sign the complaint. Osowski needed the officers' assistance to stand so they could handcuff and search him before taking him to the station. Osowski later posted bond and was released with a pending court date.
