Officials: Man Threatens Driver with Knife, Steals Wallet

The March 27 incident took place on Kildeer Street, according to court documents.

An Aurora man faces charges of armed robbery after officials said he broke the window of a car and threatened a man inside it with a long-blade knife before demanding his wallet. 

The incident took place on Kildeer Street, according to court documents. Kildeer Street is located in a single-family residential community off of Janes Avenue near the Woodridge Towne Center.  

Corey M. Johnson, 20, of Aurora, faces single charges of armed robbery and robbery. Johnson is also charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and the unlawful use of a weapon, He remains in DuPage County Jail on $200,000 bail.

Johnson was scheduled for a court hearing Monday.
