Theft Suspect Back for More?


Amber Renee Lancaster, 25, of the 300 block of West Hubbard Street, Chicago, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. at Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., on a charge of retail theft. The report states that Lancaster left the store without paying for a wallet, a pair of earrings and some cosmetics with a combined value of $261. She posted $150 cash bond and a $50 booking fee and was released pending a Jan. 23, 2014 appearance in Kane County Branch Court. According to the report, Lancaster told police that on other prior occasions she had stolen items totaling $665.99 in value and had entered into a civil agreement to reimburse Von Maur for those items
