One Section of Woodridge, Four Burglaries from Unlocked Cars

The four incidents took place between Sunday afternoon and evening and Monday morning, according to police reports.

Four burglaries took place earlier this week from unlocked cars parked in the same section of Woodridge, according to police reports. 

All four incidents took place between Sunday afternoon or evening and Monday morning. The incidents also took place in the same vicinity -- in a subdivision located along Woodward Avenue just north of I-55.

Items taken included a computer, radar detector, GPS and a camera. 

Woodridge police have not indicated these incidents were linked or committed by the same person or people.

Here is a detailed list of each incident. 

Witham Lane 

Sometime between 2 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, someone took a computer from an unlocked car parked in the 9700 block of Witham Lane, police said. 

Hampstead Court 

Sometimes between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday, someone took a radar detector from an unlocked car parked in the 9000 block of Hampstead Court. 

Also between those hours, someone took a GPS valued at $400 from an unlocked car parked in the 9000 block of Hampstead Court, police said. 

Charring Cross Road 

Between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday, someone took a camera from an unlocked car in the 8900 block of Charring Cross Road, police said.
