Police Blotter: Shingles Stolen from Driveway

Hair products stolen from Jewel-Osco, thefts at Kohl's and Target and more in this week's police blotter.

Nov. 30 

Theft from Jewel 

Two people took various hair products from , 2317 75th St., and fled in a car around 7:30 p.m., police said.

Nov. 29 

Trespass

Christopher Brooks, 18, from the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass to real property while at the Windsor Lakes apartment complex in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said. 

Car hood ornament stolen 

Someone took a hood ornament from a car in the 2500 block of Forest Drive between 5 p.m. on Nov. 29 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 30, police said.

Nov. 26 

Illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor 

Tiffany Bonilla, 18, from the 1000 block of Kuhn Road in Carol Stream, was arrested around 12:40 a.m. and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor following an incident at a business in the 1900 block of Boughton Road, police said. 

Shoes stolen from Kohl's 

John Cichon, 32, Woodridge, was arrested around 12:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he removed a pair of shoes from , 1001 75th St., police said.  

Wallet stolen from Target

Someone took a wallet left behind by a customer on a store shelf around 5:50 p.m. at , 2333 63rd St., police said. 

Singles stolen from driveway 

Someone took an unknown amount of cases of shingles from the driveway of a residence in the 3400 block of Hillside Court between 6 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 26, police said. 

Nov. 25

Possession of marijuana

Adam Axley, 34, from the 4400 block of Eberly Ave., Brookfield, IL, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in the 7900 block of Janes Avenue, police said.
