Police Blotter: Jimmy John's Burglary

Dec. 7 

Theft from Target 

Jennifer Taylor, 31, from the 1100 block of Lincoln Ave., Downers Grove, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various items from , 2333 63rd St., said.

Theft from Kohl's 

Alexander Villanueva, 25, from the 200 block of Cass Avenue in Westmont, was arrested around 3:50 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he removed a pair of shoes from , 1001 75th St., police said.

Dec. 5 

Front windshield cracked with bottle 

Someone cracked the front windshield with a bottle in the 3400 block of 83rd Street around noon, police said. 

Holiday decorations damaged  

Someone damaged holiday decorations in the yard of a residence in the 9000 block of Francis Court during the overnight hours, police said. 

Theft from Kohl's 

Fatima Monslave De Gascon, 41, from the 7600 block of Sussex Court, was arrested around 12:35 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.

Dec. 4 

Bike stolen from apartment complex 

Someone stole a bike from the common area of Highcrest Townhomes in the 3500 block of 83rd Street between 7 a.m. on Dec. 3 and 4 p.m. on Dec. 4, police said. 

Driving under the influence  

Kathleen Peterson, 55, from the 6200 block of Trinity Drive in Lisle, was arrested around 5 a.m. and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Hobson Road and Route 53, police said. 

Burglary from Jimmy John's 

Someone took about $800 in cash during the overnight hours from , 6325 Main St., police said.

$450 stolen from purse 

Someone took about $450 in cash from a purse while unattended at the owner's place of work between 5:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of 101st Street, police said.

Holiday decorations damaged

Someone damaged various holiday decorations in the front yard of a residence in the 1900 block of Eaton Drive during the overnight hours, police said.

Driving under the influence

Denise Grad, 51, from the 16000 block of Lismore Court in Tinley Park, was arrested around 5 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic accident near the intersection of Janes Avenue and Waterbury Drive, police said.
