Unlawful Possession of a Weapon

At approximately 1:24 a.m. on Sept. 11, Rick Taormina, 38, from the 1400 block of Talcott Road, Woodridge, was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon. He was in possession of a firearm without a valid FOID card, following a traffic stop near the intersection of Lemont Road and Cheese Road.

At approximately 11 a.m. on Sept. 9, Ryan Greene, 18, from the 90 block of Olsen Street in Naperville, was arrested for battery after he pushed an individual in the 2200 block of 64th Street.

Retail Theft

At approximately 1:35 p.m. on Sept. 9, Stacie Novak, 18, from the 16000 block of 143rd Street, Lockport, was arrested for retail theft after she removed various clothing items and earrings from Kohl's in the 1000 block of 75th Street.

Burglary

A residential burglary occurred sometime between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sept. 10 in the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone gained entrance to a residence through a patio door and removed approximately $2,000 in cash and two iPods.

Smashed Car Window

A criminal damage to vehicle occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Sept. 11 in the 7800 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone smashed the driver's side window of
a parked vehicle.

Stolen Cell Phone

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30
p.m. on Sept. 11 in the 1000 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone removed a cell
phone from a parked vehicle.

DUI/Improper Lane Usage/Uninsured Vehicle

At approximately 12:15 a.m. on Sept. 9, Edward Langone, 21, from the 600 block of 65th Street, Westmont was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage following a traffic stop in the 6500 block of Woodridge Drive.
