Police Blotter: Coins Stolen from Home, Smashed Vehicle Windows

June 5

Theft from Dominick's

Joyce Wilson, 59, 6212 Stonewall Drive, Woodridge, was charged with retail theft and warrant service after she removed various items from at about 2 p.m. in the 2300 block of 63rd Street, police said.

Coins stolen from home

Someone stole about $300 in coins from a residence between 2 and 5 p.m. in the 2400 block of Carlton Drive, police said.

June 3

Bikes stolen

Two bikes were stolen from a garage between 8:30 and 9:20 p.m. in the 8000 block of Geneva Street, police said.

Theft from Kohl's

Alexa Zurbano, 19, 6205 Lyman Ave., Downers Grove, was charged with retail theft after she removed various clothing items from at about 2:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of 75th Street, police said.

Vehicle vandalized

Someone damaged the driver's side window of a vehicle at about 5 a.m. in the 6800 block of Redwing Drive, police said.

Bike stolen

A bike parked outside of was stolen at about 2:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of 63rd Street, police said.

June 2

Vehicle windows shattered

  • Someone shattered the front driver’s side window of a vehicle with an unknown object at about 7:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of Red Wing Drive, police said.
  • The front window of a vehicicle was shattered at about 9:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Mitchell Drive, police said.
  • The driver's side windows of two vehicles was shattered at about 10:15 p.m., one in the 2600 block of Mitchell Drive and the other in the other in the 2700 block of Mitchell Drive, police said.

Theft from Kohl's

Alma Polito-Moto, 24, 7520 Orchard Lane, Woodridge, was charged with retail theft after she removed several clothing items from Kohl’s at about 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of 75th Street, police said.

Scratched vehicle

Someone left deep scratches all over the body of a vehicle at about 9:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Country Club Drive, police said.

Cell phone charger stolen

Someone stole a cell phone charger from a vehicle at about 4 a.m. in the 3400 block of JoAnn Lane, police said.

Theft from Home Depot

Ronnie Martin, 50, 14 Wildwood Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft after he removed various items from at about 3:15 p.m. in the 7200 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.
